The Madagascar 3: “Furry vs. The Fuzz” video adventure is an immersive narrative experience presented as a series of simple and fun mini-games that plays out like an animated short film over YouTube. The experience starts off with a hugely successful launch video, "Madagascar 3: Skipper needs your help" which has evolved into a mass viral hit with over 9 million views.
In the experience, users are tasked with helping Alex and the gang navigate their way across Europe with Captain Dubois hot on their trail. As usual, with each stop the animal gang will get into more trouble than initially intended, and users must help them navigate their way out of the mess and avoid being captured by Captain Dubois. From penguin extraction, to controlling the L.A.R.V., to flying the Monkey Powered Super-Plane, we put fans directly into the story and by doing so got them excited enough to go buy tickets to see the entire movie for themselves.
